I-Hsuan Hong is an Assistant Professor in the College of Management at National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. He received his B.S. and M.S. from National Taiwan University in 1997 and 1999, and his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005.

His research interests include modeling and analysis of problems and algorithms in closed-loop supply chain management, which are supply chains in which value is recovered from used products via recycling or remanufacturing operations.  He participated in the research project funded by the state of Georgia, focusing on the infrastructure design for electronics recycling network.  Other his research interests include application of economics and optimization to various supply chain and production systems.
